After three rounds, Eveliina Salonen holds a clear lead at the disc golf world championships in Milford, United States. Salonen finished the third round seven strokes under par, bringing her total to 21 under par. The second-place American, Missy Gannon, is eight strokes back with a total of 13 under par.

Gannon used five more strokes than Salonen in the third round. The Canadian Rebecca Don is in third place with a total of 12 under par.

Iida Lehtomäki shares fourth place with a total of eight under par. Lehtomäki started the round strongly and kept pace with Salonen initially, but subsequently lost momentum and finished one stroke over par for the round.

Finland’s Silva Saarinen and Olivia Kindstedt share seventh place with a total of six under par.

The women’s world champion will be decided on Sunday morning Finnish time.
